Very clean. Tram stop is very close and lots of lovely shops and cafes nearby. Walking distance from Old Town.
Tiny shower and only a few for the whole hostel. I am not a fan of the self check-in service and found it tricky to log into Wi-Fi at first. Room is quite cramped; if you have a big bag or lots of luggage, good luck for finding a space in the room. I was in the female dorm and the other residents left their belongings all over the common spaces—no fault of the hostel, of course, that the roommates were selfish about space.

Great place to stay, right in the Old Town, close to the railway and bus station. Cosy and quiet place where I had a nice rest before my flight. Highly recommend!

As for a hostel, the place was very clean. There is a shared shower, toilets, and kitchen, which are also clean. The price is affordable, and a big plus is the location. A nice hostel, if you don’t have high expectations.
It’s a bit difficult to register and follow the check-in instructions.

The location of this hostel was very very convenient, it was within walking distance from the Krakow train station and also from the Krakow old Town. There are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby.
My sister and I stayed at this hostel in the mixed 10 people dorm room, and it was relatively okay. We felt safe staying there as ladies even though there were other men in the room. I think keeping the dorm room open throughout really helped us feel that sense of safety.
For some reason the Hostel didn't have a female only room which would be very helpful to solo female travelers and other young ladies who may not be comfortable sharing a room with strange men. They have enough rooms to do that, and nothing stops them from doing it.
The lady at the reception was very friendly.
Overall, the location of the hostel and the safety aspects of it were okay.
Hygiene in the hostel was a big issue for my sister and I. The bed sheets were not as clean as they ought to be. The waterproof covering on the mattresses had some mold growing on it, the walls were also very dirty.
The number of toilets and showers I don't think is enough for the number of guests that they have. So there were long waiting times. Some of the toilets were clean and usable and some of the others not really.
So, the biggest problem I had was with the hygiene, that they could definitely do better at. I had spent many weeks travelling all across Europe and stayed in Hostels throughout, but this one was by far the most unhygienic. It was quiet disappointing, especially because the bathrooms were mixed gendered and there were urine stains on the seats at times.
