A secure location and good value.
The ice machine ran out of ice, and I had to walk farther to get ice.

I needed to get to the airport early and easily. The Ramada is not fancy, it is on a busy highway surrounded by fences and across the street from the old New Orleans airport BUT the rooms have been completely renovated, the beds are comfortable, the showers are new and clean. When you need to catch a plane, leave a car, and be on your way, for the money it's a good place to stay if you are budget conscience. We just want a clean place to put our heads down. We save our money for the destination. This is our third stay there and we will be back. The staff are friendly and attentive.
The breakfast bar is ok. I am not a real fan of breakfast food so that's not a slap to Ramada. There are good options to eat, I would like to see cut fruit or Greek yogurt but that's just me. There are eggs, sausage, waffles, rice krispies, and more.

Great linens, nice room, pleasant staff. Across the street from the airport.
The entire floor of the room was covered with a slimy, wet uncured floor wax...wet enough to soak my socks. The management are apparently aware, and suggested that setting the AC colder would help, cautioning that turning it to a warmer setting would result in the floor being "a bit wet." The motel was nice enough otherwise and certainly inexpensive, but the floor issue was bizarre.
