The pool options and having everything you needed on the island. Could pay at the time or charge to room.
Service for drinks and food was quite slow. $25 for a cocktail but had to wait 10minutes for it to be made, even when it was just us at the bar. The pool bar was understaffed and after waiting 15-20minutes to get served, the cocktails were disappointing. Basically juice and ice. Best classic cocktails we had were by Juan at the Tonic Bar.
Upon arrival, we were only told about the key locations, pools, restaurants, our room and how to access the south side of the island. We had to keep exploring ourselves to find Lovers Cove and where to access the rainforest walk. The map only showed so much in terms of where everything was; no directions on going through certain buildings to get there.
A bit more variety across the different restaurants would have been nice. Same overpriced cocktails and nothing too special about the food. Dinner at Infinity was nice and was the quickest service we had. Nice views for a sunset dinner. It was more of a share plate style, though wasn’t really obvious until after we ordered.
Overall a good relaxing stay, but would have been nice to feel wanted as guests instead of avoided.

The room was a lot larger than we expected. The staff were lovely and helpful and the resort had a beautiful live reef. Really enjoyed our stay

We had booked an overwater villa and were super happy with our choice. In the photos the overwater villa look a bit more outdated than the beach or garden villas, but everything was super nice, clean, comfy and the bathroom is so spacious and super modern. We pretty much stayed in the villa for 48 hours. We had read previous reviews and brought our our charcutterie and snacks and we just spent the whole day snorkeling with the cute turtles there were everywhere and relaxing. Loved we could just go straight in to the clearest water ever (we were very lucky with the weather). We did see many colorful fish in all shape and sizes and a few sea snakes, but they couldnt care less about us :) And we did find that a lot of the turtles loved overwater villa 66, so def swim to there! The breakfast was really good and varied but sit inside, there are a lot of very hungry seaguls on the terasse.

Little choice for eating especially after 2pm a more well stocked shop with food would be nice e.g bakery products
