About this apartment rental

Casa DiMondi is a guesthouse just outside Bologna’s historic center, in a quiet, green area of the city overlooking Villa Spada Park and near the famous Portico di San Luca, which holds the distinction of being the longest in the world and has been an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2021.

An excellent starting point for hikers on the Via degli Dei, who will find here the same values that underpin slow and sustainable tourism.

The neighborhood is located outside the Limited Traffic Zone (so it’s easily accessible by car) and is home to numerous shops and dining establishments (bars, restaurants, stores, etc.).

A pleasant 20-minute stroll under the arcades will take you to the heart of Bologna, or, 150 meters from the apartment, you’ll find bus stops (line 20 to the city center, line 58 to the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca, situated in a scenic location atop a hill).

We’re close to the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium, the Teatro delle Celebrazioni, the Faculty of Engineering and Industrial Chemistry, the Ospedale Maggiore, and Palazzo Albergati.

The area is well-served by public transportation and is conveniently located near both the airport (8 km) and the train station (4 km), as well as for those arriving by car from the highway.

At Casa DiMondi, you’ll find two double rooms with private en-suite bathrooms (Room 1 “Cielo” and Room 2 “Senape”) and a twin room with two single beds and a private bathroom outside the room (Room 3, “Salvia”).

Each room features: air conditioning and heating, fiber-optic Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge, a desk, a clothes rack, a hair dryer, sheets, a set of towels, and bath amenities (organic shampoo and body wash), and a view of the greenery.

The rooms are also designed to accommodate tourists on workation, as they are equipped with all the amenities needed for remote work.

Free access to the fully equipped kitchen and a panoramic balcony where you can enjoy breakfast or an aperitif with a view of the hills of Bologna.
Kitchen amenities: induction cooktop, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker with compostable pods, toaster, electric kettle, pots and pans, mugs, glasses, and wine glasses, plus various utensils.

The apartment is equipped with smoke detectors, a combustible gas detector, and a fire extinguisher.

TOURIST TAXES:
The City of Bologna requires hosts to collect and remit tourist taxes.
Rates: The cost ranges from €4.20 to €7 per person per night (up to a maximum of 5 consecutive nights), based on the total price of the reservation.
Payment method: Tourist taxes must be paid in cash at check-in.
Thank you very much for your understanding!
