Very disappointing and concerning stay

Location

I would not recommend this apartment. The condition of the property was nowhere near the standard I expected, particularly in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. On arrival, there were obvious cleanliness issues and a strong unpleasant smell in the apartment. The bathroom and communal areas in particular appeared poorly maintained, with visible damage/cracking to the tiles and areas. The overall condition left me questioning whether the property had been adequately prepared for guests, there were also items in cupboards that were left by prior guests. When I raised these issues and requested a refund because I did not feel the apartment was in an acceptable condition to stay in, the host’s response was extremely disappointing. Rather than addressing my concerns professionally, I was essentially accused of trying to find excuses and being dishonest. Being told that I was making claims about problems that supposedly “were not there” was completely unacceptable, especially when I had raised genuine concerns and had photographic evidence of the condition of the property. I was also extremely uncomfortable with the lack of disclosure regarding monitoring devices. The host subsequently acknowledged that there were noise-monitoring devices inside the apartment, which measure decibel levels. Regardless of whether they record conversations, I believe guests should be clearly informed about monitoring devices before booking and before entering the property. There were also concerns regarding surveillance/CCTV around the balcony area, which was particularly unsettling given the expectation of privacy in accommodation. The host’s explanation that there were no cameras monitoring the balcony did little to reassure me, particularly given the other undisclosed monitoring equipment. What made the experience worse was the host’s attitude afterwards.

Could be cleaner and noise meter is in the apartment so you cant be loud...also we activated smoke alarm once and there was barely any smoke...

Family stay

One additional room with bathroom, apartment is quite big, view from balkony is nice, fresh sheets and towels, parking space is well available

Cleanliness of the apartment was quite poor, dishwasher filter full of dirt - due to that dishwasher was not working, we had to clean it self. Kitchen is not well equiped for more than 4 people, some of glas in kitchen broken.,
