Property is nice, but the hosting by Hubo Moto is unacceptable.
I had a lovely stay — the place felt like being invited into a cosy, beautifully decorated home. Everything was thoughtfully arranged and fully equipped, from the kitchen to the TV and other amenities. The bed was very comfortable, and I really enjoyed the peaceful view. A perfect spot to relax and feel at home.
While the apartment itself was cosy, well-decorated, and fully equipped - a truly pleasant space to stay in - the host experience was appalling and completely ruined what could have been a great booking.
Before my arrival, I contacted the host to ask if I could check in at a specific time. I was told the room wasn’t ready yet and still needed to be cleaned - which I fully understood. But to speed up the process, I was asked to pay an extra fee, which I reluctantly agreed to.
Then, just five minutes later, I was called again and asked for even more money. At this point, I expressed that I felt this was unjustified and that it seemed like the host was simply trying to squeeze more money from me for access to a room I had already reserved and paid for.
This is when things became unacceptable: I was met with extreme arrogance and rudeness. The person I was speaking to became aggressive, insulting, and even accused me of lying. They pretended to be someone else - changing their voice and claiming to be a manager. It was completely unprofessional and surreal.
People living in the building later informed me that they were well aware of these tactics and encouraged me to report the situation, as it's apparently a recurring issue with this host.
To make matters worse, upon entering the apartment, I noticed a used water bottle with medication left on the bedside table - a clear sign that the cleaning hadn’t been done properly, if at all. For a place that claimed the room wasn’t ready due to cleaning, this was both ironic and unacceptable, and highlights the lack of professionalism in how this property is managed.
In short: the property is nice, but the hosting by Hubo Moto is unacceptable. I strongly advise Booking.com to review their partnership with them, and I would not recommend this experience to anyone until serious changes are made.
