Unsophisticated, overpriced, inadequate living

Entry and exit through the garage door was convenient, which was great because the front door didn't work properly.

Before the check-in, the host requested my ID via a platform that wasn't linked to booking.com, which I believe is against company policy. Although I offered to show them my ID in person at check-in instead of uploading it online, they wouldn't work with me until I managed to negotiate using other forms of ID that I felt safer to provide online, otherwise I wouldn't have received the keys upon check-in and the host already had my money and threatened that if I didn't complete the online outside link they wouldn't provide the keys for check in. The suburb was derelict, piles of rubbish on neighbouring front lawns, no street parking because the roads were tight and cars were parked on both sides of a tiny street so driving in and out was difficult. Two single beds weren't made, the other two double beds were small and uncomfortable. One single bed was just two mattresses stacked on one another. No body wash and not enough shampoo and conditioner for the advertised 6 people. Not a tea bag or box of tissues in sight. Dirty floor, benchtop, rangehood and pantry, window tracks and skirting boards look like they have never been cleaned. Hand smudge marks all over the walls. Alfresco area unusable because there was plastic covering the seat cushions and coffee table. Not enough cutlery and crockery for 6 people to use at once. Shower towel rail was broken, taps drip water, mismatched and broken furniture. There is a problem with the plumbing because the main toilet room smelt like sewerage. I communicated with the host at the beginning of the stay, and there was no urgency to attempt to rectify. In fact I was told to go buy amenities myself. The photos in the ad are photoshopped, I wish I could post my photos of this place.

Moreover, they are getting opened. On Wednesday night, there was some party going on for the whole night with music and shoutings from the next door neighbours. Items in the garage are not properly arranged.

It was full of dust and hanging spiderweb. The window screens in master bedroom has gap in between. Even in the bathroom the window screen has gap. None of the bathrooms has door lock facility. Moreover, they are getting opened. On Wednesday night, there was some party going on for the whole night with music and shoutings from the next door neighbours. Items in the garage are not properly arranged.
