Incredibly Disappointed -not worth the money

The location and having a fenced in backyard was the only thing that was OK. The size of the house was OK and the floor and fridge were clean. That's reaching to find positives.

No air con, so you needed the fans on but without security screens, you had to chose between sweltering in the heat or leaving the windows open with no security, just flimsy fly screens. Very unsafe in this day and age. No lounge chairs, just a hard outdoor wooden slatted, day bed put in the loungeroom with a thin cushion so you felt every wooden slat when you sat on it. Filthy cusions scattered on it to try and make it look more comfortable. It wasn't. There was also an outdoor dirty cane chair with thin cushions and a collapsed old white arm chair. All totally unacceptable for a loungeroom. The main bed was as solid as a rock and had a broken bit of spring sticking out of the end of it which stuck out so far it resulted in me catching my leg on it. One toilet had no toilet roll holder and the toilet was squished into a corner so that your knees would touch the exposed plumbing for the vanity. The pipes were just sitting right there not in a wall or covered. I assume this is because the garage had been turned into a main bedroom and very ordinary tiny bathroom. The shower drain was disgusting. The shower was small, with just a tiny mirror the size of an A4 piece of paper stuck to the wall above the small sink. The entire thing was cramped and impractical. The kitchen was not much better, they cleaned it but there was a large chip out of the actual work space, exposing chip board. Not very hygienic. The microwave was old and the button for the door kept getting stuck in making it impossible to shut the door without spending 5 minutes wiggling it. Some of the windows didn't lock, so going anywhere meant your items were not safe in the house and you weren't safe either. We booked for 3 nights to attend a specialist appointment and relax for a couple of days, but left after just one stinking, hot and humid, uncomfortable night. This meant we paid a few dollars shy of $1000 for just one horrible night instead of 3.

Cleanliness, nice grassy yard, 2 bathrooms, seperation between 2 large bedrooms gave privacy, enjoyed bringing the dog

No air con, driveway caused car to scrape had to park on the road to avoid damage, ensuite door to backyard needs a security screen door, ceiling fans too slow to keep rooms cool, too hilly to walk to beach (elderly parents), overpriced
