About this apartment rental
Oed is located on a sunny south-facing slope with a view of our local mountain, the Hochfelln. Our farm is a part-time operation and raises young cattle. (We do not have a dairy operation.) From our farm, you can walk to the town center in about 20 minutes along a beautiful meadow path. You can also enjoy wonderful bike rides, as a bike path runs right past our farm. Among other options, you can cycle around Lake Chiemsee or into the Achental valley, along the Tiroler Ache River. Hiking on the Hochfelln—whether by aerial cableway or on foot—is always an adventure. Magnificent hikes take you through the Bergener Moos, among other places. In winter, a cross-country ski trail runs right by the property.
The vacation rental features a fully equipped kitchen (electric stove with oven, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, dishwasher) integrated into the living room. Cozy dining area and couch, cable TV, Wi-Fi. 1 large bedroom with a double bed made of Swiss stone pine, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, shower/toilet. A covered east-facing balcony, furnished with patio furniture, is perfect for breakfast or simply relaxing. Clothesline and drying rack. View of nature and the garden.
We’re very centrally located for interesting day trips. In the immediate vicinity, you can reach Munich, Berchtesgaden with Lake Königsee, and, of course, Lake Chiemsee with its famous islands, Herrenchiemsee and Fraueninsel. You’re also just a short drive from Austria and the beautiful city of Salzburg. We also have wonderful swimming lakes nearby. Lake Chiemsee, Lake Lödensee, and Lake Waginger See. In winter, you can quickly reach ski resorts with guaranteed snow.
