Welcome to our serene lakefront home on Bird Lake—where relaxation, comfort, and fun come together. Nestled directly on the shoreline, this beautifully updated retreat offers breathtaking views, direct water access, and thoughtfully remodeled living spaces, making it an ideal escape for families, couples, or friends.
Begin and end each day with stunning sunrises and unforgettable sunsets from your private deck. Inside, the newly remodeled main living area features an open floor plan designed to keep everyone connected—perfect for gathering, entertaining, and enjoying lake life together. Bird Lake is ideal for both fishing and water sports, offering something for everyone.
Sleeping Arrangements
Primary Suite (Newly Remodeled): King bed, TV, two closets, dresser, blackout window shades, and an en suite bathroom for added comfort and privacy.
Second Bedroom: Queen bed, closet, dresser, TV, and blackout window shades.
Third Bedroom: Two sets of bunk beds with twin mattresses, a TV, plus a pull-out mattress creating a fifth sleeping space.
Additional amenities include extra blankets, air mattresses, and a travel Pack ‘n Play for toddlers and infants.
Kitchen & Dining
Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with appliances, including a microwave, Mr. Coffee coffee maker, Keurig, mixer, crock pot, air fryer, and a full set of pots, pans, dishes, and utensils—everything you need for home-cooked meals.
Outdoor Living
Step outside to enjoy a recently added fire pit on the lakeshore, patio with power awnings for shade, a dog run, and—during summer months—a private dock for boats or jet skis. Swim right in front of the property or take a short walk to the nearby public beach. Kayaks, fishing gear, a hammock, and cornhole boards are all provided for guest use. Wintertime can be just as nice with direct access for ice fishing and skating.
This home is also an excellent option for traveling professionals or extended stays. We LOVED staying here! This property is clean, and thoughtfully designed for a wonderful family stay. We had no issues finding things needed for cooking large family meals. Diana is an amazing host who checked in on us, and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to have an amazing lake vacation. Our kids loved swimming off the dock and fully utilizing the Lilypad that Diana so generously let us use. There is a high chair and a playpen available making this an awesome house for families with littles. Honestly, would love to come back next year!!! 10/10!!!!

This was our 2nd stay at this wonderful lake house! Our 2 week stay did not disappoint at all! You can't beat the beautiful view, the quiet surroundings and the thrill of spotting the local wildlife that also calls the lake home (like cute little river otters and so many turtles!). Communication between us and Diana was always friendly, easy, and quick! We only encountered one issue with coffee machines and it was resolved in minutes! You can tell she cares about her guests and maximizing their comfort! Our family of 3 kids (almost all teens) and 2 parents all found pleasant ways to enjoy our time. There were so many new additions from last year too! We definitely enjoyed the new arcade game in the garage and loved ping pong too! There was an additional kayak provided so we were able to all enjoy kayaking together and so many lake and outside toys to use, the ultimate in all things entertainment! We enjoyed the bonus garage room rec room so much and spent a lot of time out there with the fresh air and netting up. Having so many sleeping options and spaces to spread out was lovely too. We had all we needed in the kitchen to cook many meals, a beautiful new fire pit next to the water to enjoy s’mores in the evening, and plenty of bedding and towels.This is the perfect location to play on the lake, play games with the family, enjoy the peacefulness, make some wonderful memories, and forget the busyness of life. It's a little bit of paradise on the water!

We love our time at the lake and home in Osseo! The boys love going down to the lake and it is the perfect home to relax and just be on the lake. It has your basic needs and fit our family of 8 perfectly.

Great communication from the host. There was a tornado siren/warning while we were there and someone popped by to ensure we knew what to do in case of emergency. Beautiful location right on the lake where we watched the geese, and the ice melt away! Perfect if visiting Hillsdale College - just a bit outside town, great privacy.
