About this chalet rental
Chalet Hepi is located in the small, quiet rural village of Obertraun on the shores of Lake Hallstatt. Chalet Hepi can accommodate up to 10 guests in 5 double rooms with private bathrooms and 4 south-facing balconies. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood near the forest, with hiking and biking trails starting right outside the door. Lake Hallstatt, with its crystal-clear water, is a five-minute walk away. There, you can swim, go kayaking, try stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), or simply relax and enjoy the spectacular panoramic views of the mountains.
The Space
The guest accommodation spans 2 floors.
First floor:-
Entryway – shoe/boot rack for outdoor footwear
Kitchen – Oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, toaster, coffee maker, cooking utensils, baking sheets, pots, frying pan, dishes, silverware, glasses, dish towels, kitchen towels.
Dining room:- Traditional Austrian furniture, chairs, benches, and tables. Patio with outdoor dining and lounge furniture. Grill

Each bedroom has its own bathroom.
2nd floor:
Living room with sofas, armchairs, and a reading nook; 2 double bedrooms with private bathrooms and balconies; and 1 bedroom with a private bathroom.
Each bedroom has its own bathroom.
The outdoor area consists of a parking lot and a garden, mainly lawn and seating areas.
Points of interest:
5-minute walk to Lake Hallstatt, free swimming area. Biking and hiking trails start right at the door. Dachstein Cable Car to the Ice Cave, Mammoth Cave, hiking, and the 5-Fingers viewing platform. The historic village of Hallstatt with its salt mine. The Salzkammergut region comprises 76 lakes—the lakes and mountains of Austria.
The Krippenstein ski area is just a 5-minute drive away. Other nearby ski resorts include Dachstein-West, Loser, and Tauplitz.

Guests have their own private access to the property via a keypad. The owners have a separate entrance.

The hosts live in the basement of the building.
Smoking is permitted only outside the building; it is not allowed on the bedroom balconies.
Outdoor shoes are not permitted inside the chalet.
