Stay away from this place

Worst stay of my life. I travel a lot, and I just say: "stay away from this place". The host was very rude (see photo of her message to me after this review), not helpful at all, and once my clothes disappeared in that place after I washed them, she just told me "it is your fault to hang your clothes in the common area". There is no hairdryer or even soap to wash your hands after the toilet and once I asked she said "we don't provide personal hygiene stuff". Also the toilets mostly didn't have the toilet paper. The room was too rusty and dirty, closets were dusty, curtains barely blocked any light at night. Also the kitchen was barely functional, very messy and most of the dishes were put in the drawer or cabinets without being washed. Also, no one speaks English. I can go on, but I won't; in general this was a terrible stay.

Location was close to the beach

There was no toiletries. As it was mentioned there will be. The kitchen and washroom was shared. There was nothing mentioned while booking. The kitchen had no cups and utensils and it was blocked by towels being dried. I need my money back or at at least a portion of it.

Esperienza molto deludente, struttura trascurata e assolutamente non all’altezza del prezzo pagato. La nostra esperienza è iniziata male fin dal momento dell’arrivo. L’appartamento, infatti, non si trova nella via indicata nelle istruzioni ricevute, ma in un’altra strada. Dopo un viaggio già estenuante, abbiamo perso altri 15 minuti a cercarlo, senza che nessuno fosse disponibile a darci indicazioni. Una volta entrati in camera, la delusione è stata ancora maggiore. L’appartamento non rispecchia assolutamente le fotografie pubblicate su Booking. Nelle immagini appare tutto bello, curato e in perfette condizioni, mentre nella realtà abbiamo trovato un ambiente decisamente trascurato e deteriorato: la testiera del letto era a pezzi, metà dell’armadio era inutilizzabile perché chiusa e la porta della camera non si chiudeva correttamente. Anche la posizione, che inizialmente sembrava un punto a favore, si è rivelata problematica. Essendo vicino alla spiaggia di Copacabana, la zona è molto rumorosa, soprattutto la sera. Dalla camera si sente praticamente tutto ciò che accade in strada, rendendo difficile riposare e dormire tranquillamente. La pulizia e la manutenzione sono state altre due grandi delusioni. Abbiamo soggiornato per cinque giorni e durante tutto questo periodo non sono mai stati cambiati gli asciugamani, pulito il pavimento o svuotato il cestino dei rifiuti, che essendo molto piccolo era già pieno dopo appena due giorni. A causa dell’elevata umidità, gli asciugamani, pur essendo utilizzati esclusivamente dopo la doccia, dopo due giorni erano già umidi e avevano un odore sgradevole. Trovo inaccettabile una situazione del genere, soprattutto considerando il prezzo pagato. Passiamo poi al bagno, probabilmente uno degli aspetti peggiori dell’intero soggiorno. La doccia funzionava malissimo: dopo circa tre minuti l’acqua diventava completamente fredda e rimaneva così per almeno altri dieci minuti.
