DIRTIEST PROPERTY EVER ENCOUNTERED IN YEARS! BODY HAIR, DIRTY DISHES, UNCLEAN BED SHEETS, DANGEROUS
This is a property to AVOID at all costs! Dirty kitchen appliances, a stove that is so old there are parts that don't work, no microwave to heat food. But an air fryer with old greasy cover that looks like it was used for many years. The cabinets are just stacked unorganized with dishes and "Stuff". I don't think the managers or property owners EVER managed a Short term rental property in their life. We have been operating properties for over 5 years and this is the absolute WORST and DIRTIEST property we have ever encountered. We left in a couple of hours and the property manager did promise a refund - in writing - and apologized but now decided to keep our money which is almost $1000 and ignore our calls. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HORRIBLE PROPERTY. They will probably delete this listing and put it up again under a new name so nobody can see the truth. We quickly found much better properties at the same price IN Monaco. The road to this property at night is DANGEROUS and would not be safe for most drivers either. DIRTY is the one adjective I would use to describe this property! WE HAVE PHOTOS OF ALL THE DIRT AND MESS TOO!! Just couldn't upload them to this review.
We have travelled throughout North America and Europe; this is the #1 DIRTIEST and disappointing STR we have ever experienced! After traveling on a long winding road, mostly single lane with cars in both directions, and far from Monaco downtown, we had to unload our luggage using 30 steep, long steps to the house (leaving with luggage uphill was even worse!). The beautiful view was lost when we found DIRT, BODY HAIR in EVERY BATHROOM, KITCHEN SINK, floors around the bedrooms, and Even UNDER THE blankets and on the mattress. We opened the dishwasher, which overwhelmed us with the smell of FISH and made us gag! The owner sent a cleaning person to try and clean up everything for over an hour, and did provide us lunch while we waited. But when we opened the blanket in the main bedroom after lunch, there was hair and dirt in the bed. Do they even clean the sheets or blankets between guests?
We called the renting agent, who isn't the owner, and he acknowledged all our concerns in writing, as we have pictures of all the dirt and mess. He promised us a refund directly from him if we left asap. We did - and do this date, weeks later, he ignores our calls and NEVER SENT THE PROMISED REFUND HE WROTE IN A TEXT! AVOID THIS PROPERTY AT ALL COSTS! We even cleaned the home before we left and left garbage outside the door, only because they said the cleaner is coming right back. Then they sent us a pic a week after stating the animals got the bag and blamed us for it. Very unethical to say the least. The grounds are unkept, the next door neighbor near the pool looks like a dirty junkyard of garbage, there are weeds all over the fake grass area, and the pool area is very unsafe as there isn't a fence next to the pool on one side and you can fall, a wall about 4ft high. UNSAFE, DIRTY, and misrepresents the property in the pictures and description. AVOID - much better locations and houses closer to Monaco.
