Our family group had a wonderful 5-day summer break at CASA MARINDA and really enjoyed this cool villa with its ground-floor indoor living room and kitchen opening wide for the outdoor area with the pool that worked really well for us. Bedrooms are all good and everyone said the beds were very comfy. Area is quite but location very convenient, close to main road where cafes and supermarkets are. Older part of village is more charming but further west and 5 minute walking distance. We loved Vila Nova and hope we make it back.

The house is exceptional. It is very clean. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen well equipped. The pool clean and the right size. Three couples can stay comfortably. One of the best homes I have stayed in for Alojamento Local.
The host does not reply to messages on time. I traveled with my 81 old mother. I asked to arrive a little earlier so that I could drop the luggage, the answer came over 24 hours later and it was clinical. When I arrived I could not take the key out of the lock, it was my issue, but I sent a message, the host replied 48 hours later. I did not try to call, but it is a shame the lack of prompt responses when the place is so nice. I hope they would answer the phone if I truly needed it, but the lack of responsiveness via message was a little unsettling. For such a pretty and clean place, they should change the cover of the sofa which is full of stains. If I had not seen the cleaning team clean the place, I would have assumed the place was dirty because of the yucky sofa. Seriously, get a new cover and wash it often.
