Décevant

La maison bénéficie d'un excellent emplacement, à environ 700 mètres de la plage. C'est son principal atout et, avec un entretien et un service à la hauteur, elle pourrait être un très bel hébergement.

Malheureusement, notre expérience a été très décevante et les prestations ne sont pas à la hauteur du tarif demandé. À notre arrivée, nous avons dû consacrer près d'une heure au ménage : vaisselle et table extérieure sales, poubelle à l'odeur persistante malgré deux lavages, tête d'aspirateur complètement encrassée de cheveux et de poussière, plancha tellement sale que nous ne l'avons jamais utilisée. Le lit superposé grinçait également au point de rendre le couchage du haut inutilisable. L'extérieur était par ailleurs nettement moins soigné que sur les photos : matériel laissé dans l'allée (étendage, seau de ménage…), peignoir sale abandonné en boule près de la plancha et cendrier avec mégots. S'y ajoutent des problèmes d'entretien et de sécurité : carreaux cassés sur la terrasse, pile de carreaux cassés laissée dans l'allée et, surtout, mallette d'accessoires de plancha contenant notamment un couteau laissée dans le dortoir des enfants. La gestion de la conciergerie a été tout aussi décevante. Alors que Booking indiquait une arrivée à 15 h, on nous a annoncé 17 h. Malgré tous les problèmes signalés, les échanges se sont ensuite limités à des messages. La conciergerie nous avait pourtant indiqué habiter à Soulac même, mais n'a jamais proposé de venir constater la situation ou de chercher une solution concrète. Le geste commercial de 70 € ne nous paraît pas à la hauteur. Nous avons également contacté directement la propriétaire, qui ne nous a jamais répondu ni rappelés. Nous sommes clients Booking Genius niveau 3 et, en plusieurs années d'utilisation, c'est la première fois que nous sommes amenés à publier un avis aussi sévère. Nous n'avons par ailleurs jamais reçu d'avis négatif de la part d'un hôte. C'est vraiment dommage car la maison a un réel potentiel. Mais en l'état, la propreté, l'entretien et la qualité de la prise en charge ne correspondent clairement pas au tarif demandé.

Soulac sur Mer är en fantastisk semesterort. Nästa gång letar vi efter annat hus!

Äta & umgås på terrassen. Tvättstugan. Kyl & frys. Gångavstånd (800m) till havet & centrum.

Att bilder och verkligheten divergerade. Generellt gammalt, slitet och ofräscht hus. Köket: oreda i skåp och lådor, kantstött porslin, trasiga kastruller. Pga. dålig luft på övervåningen tvingades 2p sova i egen bil. Avsaknad av WiFi. Ocharmigt, oskött utomhus. Torra träd, växter och gräs. Flera av stolarna trasiga och rangliga. Oanvändbar gasolgrill. Extra betalt för sängkläder, handdukar, badhanddukar. Badlakan kunde inte tillhandhållas.
