Staff was friendly upon arrival. Room is basic. Pool is nice! No options for breakfast at the hotel despite advertising that breakfast can be reserved a day before.

This was such a cute place to stay at. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. (The neighbor dogs were a little loud but not really too bad). The staff was kind and helpful. Walking distance to the beach and a nice restaurant. The pool was great and the little barstools that lead to the countertop in The pool were nice. The room had AC and was clean and cute. We had the forest room and the view from window was wonderful. You can tell the property owner is doing a great job at making this place a beautiful retreat. They even have Wi-Fi and books to read. The lounge chairs by the pool make a nice spot to relax.
The only reason I give a 4 star instead of 5 is because we really weren’t able to use the kitchen as much as we wanted. Not because of the staff or anything wrong with the property, simply because of other guests not cleaning up and washing the pots and pans. Maybe some sort of check in and out system in place for cooking items may help for future guests. I honestly would have given 4.8 stars if it let me.

The property and the room are perfectly kept. The bed and pillows are comfortable and the AC gets nice and cold. We enjoyed the pool in the evenings after spending some time sunning on Ocatal Beach.
