Fabulous property, kind and helpful hosts.

Lovely property in a very convenient location. Quiet, clean and comfortable with everything you could need for your stay. Felt like home away from home and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back. The hosts can’t do enough for you, providing all the information you need promptly before you arrive including contact numbers. I had a slight issues which was down to my own incompetence but the hosts were very helpful and took the time to check later in the evening that I was ok. As a solo female it really is re-assuring to know that someone is happy to help you in the event you need it. This really is a little gem in the heart of Bicester. I’m looking forward to staying again when I next visit Bicester village and friends in the area.

Terrible stay – avoid this place! I would give this place zero stars if I could. From start to finish it has been a complete nightmare. The house is in a shocking state – very old, run-down, and absolutely not worth the thousands of pounds I paid to stay there. There was no working WiFi (I had to go out and buy my own 5G hub at nearly £200 just so my family could get online), no kettle or cutlery (I had to buy my own just to be able to cook and make a drink), and the shower hardly worked at all. The property was full of poor quality, broken, or outdated items, and it’s clearly not properly maintained. On top of that, people were turning up at the property without notice to measure rooms because the owners are trying to sell it – which is completely unacceptable when I’m paying to stay there. My partner and young son were even disturbed in their sleep by people entering, which is beyond disrespectful and a serious safety concern. As for refunds, the owners never gave me a penny back. Booking.com themselves, out of goodwill, offered me a small compensation, but it was nowhere near enough for the state of the place. I was also promised money back for the WiFi box I had to buy, but of course, nothing ever arrived. This place is not fit to be rented out, especially through a platform like Booking.com. Save yourself the stress, money, and disappointment – stay literally anywhere else.
