We had a fantastic stay at 8 Leyn Baan Street during our honeymoon in Sri Lanka. The apartment is beautifully designed, with a great blend of historic character and modern comfort, and felt much more special than a standard hotel room.
Everything we needed was provided, including drinking water, a coffee press, and a well-equipped kitchen area, which made it easy to settle in and feel at home. The space was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together.
One of the biggest benefits was that the property is managed by Fort Bazaar, which meant we could use the excellent pool and hotel facilities there. Having access to both a private apartment and the amenities of a boutique hotel was a real bonus.
The location is perfect for exploring Galle Fort, with restaurants, cafés, galleries and the ramparts all within a short walk.
We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable base in Galle.
