lovely place for a get away with family or friends

Beautiful spacious property, well equipt kitchen lots of space in the many bedrooms, and enough bathrooms to cope with a large group beautiful grounds in a nice area, not too far from many beaches or town

Not worth value for money

The location is excellent

we weren’t happy with our stay. The house is not in good shape and it wasn’t clean enough. Here are some points of feedback: 1. See pictures sent in the email - we asked 3 times for a cleaner to come and fix it & no one was sent. I was already told by the support team that I’d get a call back but never did. I called 3 times to check in on whether the cleaner could come. Finally someone, from air bnb asked me to call them but that was late afternoon on Saturday and we were checking out the next day. After we checked out, I called again twice and no one called me back. 2. The kitchen was very dirty -we had to clean everything we used before we used it - plates, bowls, cutlery. I had to wipe down every surface myself before our friends arrived because I didn’t want them to see it in that state. (See photos I sent soon after we checked in). 3. The freezer was frozen open & everything we put in there melted and/or spoiled - the seal of the freezer is totally broken 4. The toilet cleaner/ plunger in the downstairs toilet has poo stains all over it - it’s distrusting and needs to be replaced. 5. The fire pit lid has giant holes in it - very dangerous given how close the fire pit is to the forest. The wind picked up, we put the lid on and there was a giant hole in it - we quickly had to put the fire out 6. Finally and worst of all, there is black mold growing all over the ceiling of the master bathroom - very dangerous especially for the pregnant ladies that were staying in the bedroom. The house is very old and the pictures don’t capture most of how old it is. You need to show people the bathroom mold, the unclean kitchen, the stains on the outside deck etc etc We all live in beautiful clean homes & want to holiday in beautiful clean places - that’s the expectation
