A lovely, quiet retreat that's still close enough to Langkawi's main attractions for day trips. The rustic interiors are tastefully done and suit the paddy-field setting, and all amenities are provided, including an on-site washing machine.
The wading pool was the highlight. Long grass along the sides gives just enough privacy, and it's directly accessible from the bathroom, a thoughtful touch. We spent most of our stay in it.
The staff were warm and welcoming. They set up a WhatsApp group before arrival, sent a welcome cheesecake, and gave us a traditional Malay breakfast on checkout day. Animal lovers will enjoy the family of cats on site (and a shy dog). Ideal for couples and solo travellers, and workable for a small family.
The wifi is weak and intermittent, though mobile data worked fine and we didn't miss being connected. The location is also remote, so you'll want to hire a car. Grab may work, but having your own vehicle gives far more flexibility.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The villa is beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by a lovely kampung and paddy field atmosphere. It feels very private and relaxing, and having our own pool made the stay even better. We were also pleasantly surprised that there were basically no mosquitoes at all, even though the villa is surrounded by nature and paddy fields!
What impressed us most was the hospitality. From before we arrived until check-out, everything was well taken care of. Pakdin welcomed us personally, showed us around and explained everything clearly. They even prepared a complimentary cake and bananas, which was such a thoughtful touch. And on our last morning, they surprised us again with complimentary nasi lemak for breakfast. Such a simple gesture, but it made our last day extra special. 🥹🤍
We genuinely felt very welcomed and well taken care of throughout our stay. Definitely a place we would love to come back to — next time with the whole family! ❤️
Honestly, nothing much to complain about. We really enjoyed everything. The only thing we didn’t like was having to leave so soon! 😂 We wish we could have stayed longer.

La gentillesse et l’accueil des hôtes nous ont fait très plaisir. Le voyage a été ponctué de pleins de petites attentions de la part de notre hôte de son équipe.
