This location was spectacular. The host, Maryann, was a delight! It was more then suitable to accommodate 5 adults and such a welcoming spot to come home to after a day of travel. Its a great central point and also a great place to stay on site and enjoy the premises
My only regret is that I did not stay longer.

The guest house where we stayed is called The Granary, as it was formerly a granary and was converted into a residence. It's located across a courtyard from the main residence where the owners of the property live. The overall property is a very private and lovely estate located on the shore of Loch Ness. Guest are permitted to walk around the grounds. The Granary is cozy and comfortable. The location was great for exploring the region around Loch Ness and even out to the Cairngorms.
It doesn't have significant views of the Loch from the interior (from the pictures, we thought it might). But it's still a charming place to stay.

It was much bigger than antipated. Lots of space for a family.
Really nice and kind owners.
Excellent surroundings with walks and paths down to the Loch Ness.
There's a local community shop 1 km away
Well positioned for day trips to Inverness, Fort William and Isle of Skye
Two minor inconveniences;
The toilet in the ground level drips loudly after use for a while.
We're not very good with heat, and building was quite warm inside despite it being cool outside, and we couldn't fugure out how to cool it down without having a door open all the time

Dejligt og roligt 😊 et godt udgangspunkt for udforskning af højlandet.
Der var meget lidt naturligt lys pga de meget små vinduer.
