Excellent and safe stay- without doubt

Everything is perfect and one of the best place to stay. Fully safe and secure, even for solo single women travellers (Can be Egyptian or a foreigner). You will feel like home. Incase, if you are not finding room available on booking.com, just directly go to location or contact Hassan, he will do his best to accommodate you. Additional, the stay can accomodate groups of 2-6 people. Request the owner what you need, and he will arrange it for you. You may even ask him to book tours, e.g: hot-air ballooning etc. Without any expectation or hesitation, Hassan took me to all the tourist attractions and places on his bike, even they cooked- superb Egyptian home-made fresh food- as i am a vegetarian-simply wow- photo attached herewith :)

An unforgettable stay in Luxor, made special by Hassan and his family.

Our stay at Sunset Mirage in Luxor was nothing short of magical, all thanks to our incredible host, Hassan, and his wonderful family. From the moment we arrived, Hassan welcomed us with open arms, introducing us to his loving mom, wife, two sons, and two daughters. It immediately felt like we were not guests, but part of the family. Hassan is truly a remarkable human being, always ready to help and go the extra mile. Whenever I needed anything, he would take me to local markets and shops, ensuring I could buy food at fair local prices. Every day, he checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, showing genuine care and attention that made our stay incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights of our visit was gathering every evening with Hassan and his family around the backyard fire, sipping tea and engaging in meaningful conversations. Those nights were unforgettable; we genuinely became part of their family. The location of Sunset Mirage is excellent, especially for exploring the West Bank of Luxor. We were just minutes away from iconic sites like the Valley of the Kings (Tutankhamun, Ramses), the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, the Colossi of Memnon, the Valley of the Queens, and the artisan villages like Deir el-Medina. It offered the perfect combination of accessibility, incredible sights, and a peaceful, quiet atmosphere compared to the East Bank. The house itself is wonderfully authentic, with a rustic vibe that exudes serenity and calmness. The kitchen is well-equipped, allowing you to prepare your own meals and adding a touch of home comfort to the experience. Staying at Sunset Mirage was more than just a visit to Luxor; it was a deeply personal and enriching experience. Hassan and his family made us feel completely at home, and their warmth and hospitality will stay with us forever. We cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Honestly, there was nothing to dislike. Everything about our stay was perfect, from the hospitality to the location. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Nous avons été super bien accueillis par notre hôte. L'hébergement est en pleine campagne, et donne un bel aperçu de l'activité dans un village égyptien. Il est proche de la vallée des Rois et du temple de Hatchepsout. Nous avons également profité d'un très bon petit déjeuner et d'un copieux souper.

Es agradable estar solo en la casa hotel, pero honestamente, para los que no conocemos bien las costumbres, la casa resulta tenebrosa.

Esta muy retirada de la ciudad, resulta difícil transportarse desde y hacia el hotel, aparte es costoso hacerlo por la ubicación. Las camas no son cómodas
