Cool apartment but disappointing experience because keys didn't work

Very central location on a lively street and stone's throw from La Caleta beach. Access to communal rooftop (nothing luxurious, but still cool) - just be aware that this is a normal house with normal Spanish neighbours, so be respectful.

I would like to give more stars, but I had a really bad issue with the set of keys I was given. The one opening the front door of the building was impossible to use, on my first night I was unaware as I was just lucky the neighbours had left it open. On my second night it was impossible to get inside, for half an hour I was struggling out in public for all the neighbours and people having dinner and in the bars to see and couldn't reach the hosts anymore (11PMish). I'm a seasoned traveller and don't complain about much, but as a woman travelling solo this felt really bad and extremely distressing. I returned to try again without any success, I'm just lucky to have enough wits and speak Spanish so the waiters from the restaurant came to help me - it was only through their effort we could get a neighbour lady from the building to press the buzzer on her doorbell and let me inside. Host's initial reaction was "they had never had such problems before" and the only thing they could offer me was another set of keys - I would have expected much better communication from their side to immediately solve the issue. I was gone for the day and found it funny that I should be responsible for picking up keys after almost being locked out for the night; in the end, after many hours it was arranged I could pick them up from a lockbox at their office downtown. When I left the apartment, the cleaning lady was already ringing the doorbell a few minutes before check-out time and I explained to her I had two sets of keys to give back, because one didn't work and she said she KNOWS.

Perfetto per chi vuole vivere la vita del paese

Ci è piaciuto molto la luminosità, l'arredamento e la dispozione dei condizionatori ( uno in ogni stanza) .presentava al suo interno diversi confort. L'appartamento è ubicato su una via piena di ristoranti e ad un supermarket aperto fino a tardi.

Comodo alle necessità ma chiaramente odore di cibo e schiamazzi fino ad ora tarda sono inevitabili .per fortuna le finestre isolano a sufficienza...il vero neo rimangono le scale , soprattutto l'ultima rampa ,molto stretta e ripida ..fare quelle scale con una valigia ingombrante è stato impegnativo ,molto impegnativo. La via è pedonale quindi bisogna avvalersi dei parcheggi ( spesso liberi solo quelli a pagamento).

Agridulce

La ubicación es perfecta. El apartamento en si está bien pero ciertos detalles hacen que la experiencia no sea del todo buena. Un aire acondicionado estaba goteando cuando llegamos y nos lo arreglaron el mismo día de llegada en tiempo récord.

El baño no estaba limpio en general. El inodoro dejaba mucho que desear… Es un edificio antiguo donde las zonas comunes echan para atrás, además de no ser un 3º sin ascensor, como indica el anuncio, si no un palomar en lo alto de la azotea, por lo que la última escalera es para personas ágiles y esbeltas.

Ci è piaciuto molto la luminosità, l'arredamento e la dispozione dei condizionatori ( uno in ogni stanza) .presentava al suo interno diversi confort. L'appartamento è ubicato su una via piena di ristoranti e ad un supermarket aperto fino a tardi.

Comodo alle necessità ma chiaramente odore di cibo e schiamazzi fino ad ora tarda sono inevitabili .per fortuna le finestre isolano a sufficienza...il vero neo rimangono le scale , soprattutto l'ultima rampa ,molto stretta e ripida ..fare quelle scale con una valigia ingombrante è stato impegnativo ,molto impegnativo.
