We had a lovely two night stay at Casa di Claretta in Como. The apartment is beautiful and full of character, with a charm that made our short break feel extra special. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Como and a wonderful base for exploring and making the most of our time there.
The host was kind and responsive. We did experience some noise from children in a neighbouring apartment on our final night, but there are clear quiet hours from 10pm and the host was incredibly apologetic. We wouldn’t want that to overshadow what a lovely apartment this is.
We would happily stay again and wouldn’t think twice about booking Casa di Claretta for another visit to Como!
Unfortunately, a group of young children who live in the neighbouring apartments were running up and down the stairs and making considerable noise until after midnight on our final night. This disturbed our sleep, especially as we had an early start the following morning.
However, this was outside the host’s control. There is a clear quiet time rule from 10pm, and the host was incredibly apologetic.

We arrived late but the instructions at the gate were clear and easy to complete to access the apartment. Old Medieval part of town with lots of character and none of the decay of a port town.
Getting to the apartment in the dark and twisty narrow streets (by car) was impossible and should not be attempted! Fortunately, street parking on a main road was just a 5 minute walk and was a good place to just leave the car and walk the old town and port.

Muy bien ubicado , la decoración es monísima !! Nos dejaron entrar antes de los previsto , lo cual se agradece muchísimo Llevar tapones para los oídos !
El ruido , da igual la habitación donde duermas , ya sea por la calle o por lo vecinos … la verdad que se escucha todo y eso que no es una calle muy transitada, una pena porque el no dormir nos estropeó todo el viaje .
