Extremely Poor Management and Irresponsible Host – Avoid This Property

I had a very disappointing experience with this homestay. The host has been completely irresponsible when it comes to returning the RM100 deposit. Initially, they promised to refund the deposit within 7 days after check-out, but no refund was made. When I followed up, they assured me it would be refunded on 2nd April 2025—but again, nothing was received. I waited until 4th April and contacted them again, but they have since ignored all my messages and calls. Not only are they unprofessional, but also extremely rude and unresponsive. They do not answer calls or reply to any messages, even when it’s urgent. Additionally, they failed to properly provide the door access code on the check-in day. I had to wait in front of the unit and contact them again just to get the password to enter. This kind of disorganized and careless management is completely unacceptable. This is by far the worst-managed homestay I have ever stayed at in Melaka. There are many better options in the same area, so I strongly advise others to avoid this one.
