It was awful. You could make a horror movie with my story.

Location

The worst experience of my life. It all started with the owner asking me to send a photo of my documents on WhatsUp. Then she offered to cancel my reservation on WhatsUp, saying that it was free and we could make arrangements directly outside of booking on the day when the reservation was already non-refundable. Of course I didn't do it. Then "better". On the day of check-in, I couldn't get into the apartment AT NIGHT. I wrote to the owner, called, knocked on the door. No one opened it for me and I had to spend the night outside, with a bunch of things and an animal in my arms. When the neighbors finally let me in in the morning, it turned out that there was no light in my room. I wrote to her again and received a dry "sorry, I was sleeping" and instructions on how to turn on the light. On the very first day, she PRESENTED ME IN FRONT OF THE FACT that for a MONTH she would be doing renovation work in the room above mine. Without warning and without agreement. And these were not cosmetic changes, but drilling, installing windows, plumbing, pipes and working with a perforator. So I couldn’t sleep even during the day after a terrible night. I spent the next day in my room. At dinner I felt very sick. I was as pale as a wall, I was nauseous, I had a severe headache. It turned out that that day they were gluing the ventilation pipes, which also go to my room. So I got poisoned. I realized that I was starting to lose consciousness. I don’t speak Spanish well, so I asked the owner for help. Instead of calling an ambulance, she suggested that I go outside and drink milk, assuring me that I had made it all up and there was no risk to my health. I said that I was lactose intolerant, and she still insisted. She sent neighbors who came with milk and told me the same thing. So no one provided me with proper help. I said that I couldn't sleep in that room, and asked to give me another one.

Charming room, friendly owner

The owner was super lovely and it's a great price, the kitchen was well-equipped with utensils and complimentary tea/coffee/sugar etc. The bed is comfy and the bathroom was clean.

The shower only has cold water, which I didn't mind due to the hot weather but it's unfortunate for those who prefer hot showers.

Quirky, good value room

Nice little room.

Room is accessible only through the hosts own home, where they are all living. Bathroom is private and nice, but not in the room so you have to go back towards the house.
