Disappointed from start to finish / health and safety issues/ key went missing /put us at risk

Location excellent the property would be perfect if they were to up date and do the jobs that need doing , paid for earlier check-in for 1o'clock we got there at 2ish after travelling for 3 hours ,the room hadn't been cleaned it was a complete mess , phoned agent she tried blaming saying cleaner never turned up and was stuck in traffic, cleaner told me different,job wadnt even allocated to her ..we were told to go away and they would let me know when apartment is ready ,even said get a hotelroom and they would pay ,asked her to send email confirming that she would pay ,but that never happened, and on a bank holidays had no chance anyway ,they never did contactme saying apartment was ready ,we got back around 5ish all done ,asked for money back for early check-in that had taken 3 days to do , banister coming away from wall health and safety ,very steep stairs ,leak under kitchen sink , cooker hop surround peeling of ,fire hazard, table on balcony i lent on to get up ,legs rusty and bent up , garden umbrella all rusty and broken at the bottom so had no shade drainage grate not secured down , it had moved and my foot ,nearly went down the hole ,fake grass held down with ,slabs so it doesn't blow up ,.. all reported only thing that got mended was banister but still not done properly, the surround around cooker was stuck down with mastic but kept peeling back up ,so a fire extinguisher was put on to hold it down ,a empty one at that ,no pin in it and gauge was not on green it was a power extinguisher, not sure it the right one to be used on electric hops ?

We had 2 keys when we got them out of coded key box on the front door off the property, a workman came in while we were out to check shower ,temperature as it was scalding, when we got back ,one key had been taken of key ring ,this made us a bit anxious, when I called the agent ,didnt pick up again ,sent messages asking we're the key was ,she just said workman must off taken it ,so I said what for ,she didnt answer as usual, we didnt go out after that as ,they use workman from Facebook, so now someone has a key and the code to get into the property, I asked her to get key back to me that day, she said ,she would get on it it ,but yet again didnt .. we didn't go out .. I sent message next day we're the key ,then she came out with the owner has taken it as they have no spare key ,the keys we had were the only ones for the property... so I said he should of went and got some cut ? Nothing no message, our hole holiday was a joke lie after lie , I nearly broke my foot down a drainage hole, nearly went flying when I lent on rusty table as leg bent underneath, umbrella was just balancing in the umbrella hole in the table ,broken and rusty, so we ended up with no table or umbrella for shade ,just couldn't make it up ,I didn't get the hosts name or agent what ever she was ment to be I dont get how this property has past health and safety, for letting out this should me checked out before, they are aloud to do anymore booking .. as I said before they have a gold mine there prime location and this could be an amazing apartment, it would even cost that much to get up to a standard, for people to enjoy the holiday they through they were getting.. I just hope booking.com check them out ... safty first DBS checks for workman who are entering a apartment as I said before key went missing and they new the code to get in with women only in ... I have more videos than picture so couldn't up load

Really enjoyed the stay and made some amazing memories. Overall a pleasant experience!

In terms of location it was great, right near the beach and food places and shops. Terrace was amazing! And the apartment was fitting with Aircon in both rooms and both rooms were decent size. Kitchen was very well equipped!

Stairs are very steep going up. The place is perfect for couples / adults but children may find the stairs difficult. Stairs were also unclean when we first entered but rest of apartment was really clean. Bathroom door is also very difficult to open and close.
