Great

Excellent location

The location was excellent. Everything was within walking distance, and the metro station was just a few metres from the accommodation. We had several issues with the cleanliness of the apartment, but Stefan from the management team was very helpful, accomodating and responsive. The apartment was very spacious and well equipped. I would suggest providing a teatowel in the kitchen and dishwasher tablets.

The accommodation was dirty and clearly had not been cleaned to an acceptable standard. Although I could provide photos to show just how dirty it was, I have decided not to include them out of consideration for the host, whom I do not hold responsible for the poor standard of cleaning. The issue appears to have been with the cleaning company. After I complained, the management offered to arrange another cleaning, which I declined. We had already settled in, and I did not feel comfortable having someone enter the accommodation while we were out and our belongings were inside. We also did not want to spend part of our short stay in Sofia waiting around for another cleaning. The management was genuinely concerned about the condition of the apartment and took my complaint seriously. They told me they would be changing cleaning company, and we received a partial refund for the cleaning. One of the most disgusting things was the towels. They looked as if they had not been washed properly, if at all, and were covered in marks and stains. As a result we could not shower on our first day because I had to wash the towels before we could use them. I washed them at 90°C, and they came out perfectly clean. Before doing so, however, I had to clean the washing machine, as there was black slime all around the rubber seal inside the door, which was absolutely revolting. When we arrived there, there was bedding and towels hanging on the clothes airer on the balcony. They were still damp and had obviously been "washed" in the dirty washing machine. The overall cleanliness of the apartment was very poor. The carpets in the bedrooms desperately need a thorough cleaning or, preferably removing altogether. I would strongly recommend that a competent person thoroughly inspects the entire accommodation, checks for defects and ensures that everything is clean and in good working order before it is rented out again.

Great stay, fully met our expectations. Host very responsive

Really well-equipped and room distribution is great. Amazing, perfect location because it's central but quiet. Host commucated very well, respectfully, also very quick and was responsive

A couple small hurdles, but they were quickly resolved by the host! Nothing to note here

Good

The location of the house is excellent. It's in the city center, so you can walk to most places. Our landlord was very helpful. While we were carrying our suitcases upstairs, they locked our car in front of the building and gave us a ticket. Thanks to our landlord, we managed to contact them and get it unlocked. There are paid parking lots across the street and in the back alley; you can leave your car there.
