The lodge is situated beautifully on a hill with panoramic views of the lake and mountains to the west. It’s a recently renovated building with all the comforts of home and tasteful charm. William is a gracious and warm host who cultivates a festive and amicable atmosphere.
No complaints! There was a storm with high winds on one of the nights we stayed and the electricity went out in the area but was restored in time for dinner.

Fantastic breakfast but served late . The surrounding area is possibly the most beautiful and serene place in Ireland!
No tea and coffee making facilities. Third day of our stay no hot water. However the host was most apologetic and offered the use of his private cottage for those who wished to us the hot water. The evening dinner was good but portions were on the small side.
