About this house rental
The Space
The main feature of this home is the first floor, a spacious 130 m² area consisting of six soaring bays with cross vaults that make up the living area, an open-concept space that visually connects the house to the garden. A spacious, fully open living area that includes a large, fully equipped kitchen with a Carrara marble countertop and an island, a relaxation area with sofas and a fireplace, and finally a dining area with a marble table that looks out through large windows onto the courtyard/garden with a pool. The open-concept space features a mezzanine in the center, above the kitchen, which overlooks the relaxation area and houses a study space. From the dining area, via three steps and through a large glass wall, you enter the beautiful courtyard with a pool and a first shaded area featuring a thatched canopy and a dining table seating 8–10 people; beyond that lies the pool area with sunbathing space—both on the lawn and partially paved—surrounded by lush, cool vegetation.
Also from the garden/courtyard, a small door leads to a picturesque private alleyway, shared with other houses that face onto it, including the one in question. Returning inside the house, still on the first floor, there is access to a small cellar (not usable) and, next to the kitchen, to a sleeping area with 1 double bedroom featuring a private bathroom and 1 single bedroom with an en-suite bathroom (the larger bedroom has a bathtub, and the smaller one has a shower). Note: These rooms do not have air conditioning because they remain quite cool in the summer, and the smaller of the two is best suited for a single person or a couple with modest needs, as the bed is a double box spring with one side against the wall due to the limited space in the room. Both rooms share a hallway that separates their entrances, and both open—via French doors—onto a small shared inner courtyard that provides fresh air and light.
Also on the first floor, from the living area but on the other side of the kitchen that overlooks the living room, there is an opening in the wall leading to a beautiful, ancient stone staircase, whitewashed with lime, which, after a few steps, leads to the loft/study mentioned earlier and, continuing further up, to the first floor, where a small hallway leads to two additional double bedrooms with bath/shower—one en suite and the other separate—and air conditioning. Both of these bedrooms have their own separate entrances, with French doors opening onto a spacious and beautiful terrace overlooking the rooftops of the historic center and, in particular, the rear facade with its stained-glass windows of the Church of Sant’Andrea.
Notes: Since the apartment is adjacent to the church, the sound of the bells marking the time may be heard during the day.
The weekly rate includes: bed and bath linens; water and gas consumption; electricity consumption up to a maximum of 200.00 kWh per week (any excess will be charged to the tenant at a rate of €0.50 per kWh); maintenance of the pool and garden. Not included and to be paid upon check-in: the final cleaning fee of €250.00. Pets are not allowed.
