The location of this property is fantastic and was the only positive aspect of our stay.Unfortunately, everything else was extremely disappointing. We stayed for seven nights and had no hot water for the first five nights. We reported the issue immediately, but it was not resolved until the final two nights of our vacation. Losing hot water for the majority of our stay had a significant impact on what should have been a relaxing holiday.The host offered us the use of a shower in her basement suite, but only for one of those five days. When we went to use it, the suite was even dirtier than our rental. It appeared it had not been cleaned since the previous guests had left, with dirty laundry scattered throughout and the space generally unclean. It was not an acceptable alternative.The cleanliness of the rental itself was also far below expectations. Many areas looked like they hadn’t been properly cleaned in a very long time, and the overall condition of the property felt neglected. Several lights flickered throughout our stay, further reinforcing the lack of maintenance.While unexpected issues can happen with any property, what matters is how they are handled. Having no hot water for five of seven nights, being offered an unclean alternative shower for only one day, and receiving no meaningful refund or concession left us feeling that our concerns were not taken seriously.The North Shore is an incredible place to visit, but based on our experience, I cannot recommen

The Staz was in a good location but inside the container furniture was looking tired. The bed was not really comfortable. It could have had extras like a hair dryer. The stay was advertised with washing machine and dryer and there was not one there.
