The vacation rental is located in the idyllic town of Heubach at the foot of the Swabian Alb. Heubach is known for its charming old town and the Rosenstein ruins, which tower over the town as its landmark. Discover the numerous hiking and biking trails in the area, which lead you through picturesque valleys, dense forests, and over green hills. We especially recommend a hike to the Rosenstein ruins, which offer a breathtaking view of the surrounding area. Both Aalen and Schwäbisch Gmünd are no more than 15 minutes away by car. If you’d rather take the bus, the stop is right in front of the house. Explore the area: - Rosenstein Ruins - Climb to the historic lookout point and enjoy the fantastic view. - Swabian Alb—a paradise for hikers, climbers, and nature lovers - Limes Museum in Aalen—discover the history of the Roman border wall that once ran through the region. - Thermal Baths & Wellness – Relax at the Limes-Therme in Aalen - Biking & Mountain Biking - Ski lifts in Bartholomä and Treffelhausen (10–15 min.)
