The staff and hotel are wonderful. Work out room is quiet and clean. We stayed in a queen suite for the week, and it was perfect. Enough room for all three of us not to fall over each other or our luggage. Breakfast was the usual hotel breakfast, eggs, egg cheese English muffin, and sausage. They also had waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and oatmeal.
The staff was helpful and informative of the area. We absolutely loved our stay. Price was VERY nice for a week stay. Close to town, Blue Ridge, and lots of dining choices.
Pool is a little small, but when it is only us down there it was perfect.

Room was clean. However, none of the external digital locks on the doors , the swimming pool entrance or the gym entrance were working. The external doors were left wide open probably all night as the locks weren’t working, not safe. The staff said that they’ve been out of order for more than a year. At night, there was only 1 staff/person at the hotel and I had to wait for over 30 mins to get to him to get a bedding set. Clearly under staffed for the rush long weekend. The breakfast was ok. They didn’t have anything for vegetarians, no flat bread toast, fresh oats or any vegetarian friendly stuff in the hot breakfast. The outdoor pool is there for namesake, it’s super small, not very clean and only up to 4 ft in depth. It was a large bathtub without a working security system accessible to pretty much anyone from outside the hotel.
