Uninviting, grey and depressing.

The property was clean and in the location I needed (close to the hospital). The mattress on the bed was ok, and the shower was ok.

Quite a few things needed repair. The side of the bath was falling off. The cupboard in the main bedroom needs repair. There is no TV licence so very limited programmes. There was no towel for drying up and the sponge in the sink was very elderly and needed changing. Nothing left for a weary traveller like a pint of milk, fortunately I had some and I had brought my own coffee. These days that's pretty unusual for this sort of short rental. The sheets felt like polyester - not very nice to sleep in. The wifi - what was listed in the hallway wasn't recognised, so no wifi. The decor was functional but not inviting apart from the upstairs bathroom which was nicely done.

5 / 10

Cost V Quality

Good Value , clean beds and towels

Property is dated , stained carpets, very basic furnishings , cheap basic beds, hot water & fridge turned off on arrival . We stayed as an over night stop on route to holiday . It was cheap. But basic and rough around the edges .
