The location is very accessible, and the staff are accommodating and friendly. Their breakfast includes typical tosilog meals. I stayed in the female bunk room, which was clean and tidy. Unlimited access to Tops is a great bonus—going there to catch the sunset and sunrise is the best, and you can sit by the bonfire while enjoying the amazing scenic view.
Food & Drinks: Breakfast options are limited to tosilog meals, and most were unavailable, so I ended up with just rice, egg, and Spam. Also, a heads-up: the mango shake tastes very artificial, so I'd recommend choosing a different drink.
Pool Access & Wi-Fi: The hostel doesn't offer free pool access; you have to pay ₱500 to use it. The Wi-Fi connection is also quite poor and frequently disconnects.
Bunk Bed Setup & Comfort: Some of the hooks for the privacy curtain on my bunk bed were damaged and hadn't been replaced. The mattress and pillow were quite stiff and uncomfortable—not soft or fluffy like standard bedding. The blanket was also very thin, so if you get cold easily, I wouldn't recommend it. Additionally, since you have to close the curtain for privacy, the AC airflow gets blocked, making it warm inside the bunk while sleeping. Keep in mind there is only one AC unit to cool an 8-bed room.
Bathroom: I’m not sure if they offer hot showers, but in my experience, I turned the knob both ways and only got freezing cold water. (I usually like cool water, but this was icy.) You may want to ask if hot water is available in other rooms. Also, a shelf in the shower for toiletries would be a helpful addition.
