Not a premium apartment by any standards, however there is a nice view

The view was as per the pictures and it was located close to the Main Street so easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants

For the price we paid, the blinds in the lounge were broken and you couldn’t close them, the door handle on the outside of the bedroom door was broken, there was no hand soap in the bathroom (there is shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided though), dirty bidet in the bathroom, holes in the wall next to electrical sockets, one of the chairs on the balcony was broken and the keys were not where it was described in the email we were sent so it took a long time to work out where the keys were

I was locked out for hours due to incorrect instructions and charged for a stay I never received.

Unfortunately, I was unable to access the property due to incorrect key instructions and a cancellation after arrival, so I did not have the opportunity to experience the apartment itself.

This experience was extremely distressing and financially damaging. I arrived at the property between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. with my 11-year-old nephew after a long trip, only to find that the key instructions were incorrect. I was told to collect the keys from Box 1 with code 4044, but the keys were not there. The phone numbers listed in the reservation were not functional for calls — they only worked via WhatsApp. When attempting to call, the system stated that the number does not exist or does not receive calls. Despite sending multiple WhatsApp messages, I did not receive a timely response. We were left outside in cold weather for several hours. It was only at 21:49 that the property sent a new message with a different key box number and code. By that time, I had already been forced to book last-minute alternative accommodation so that my family could rest safely. In addition, despite not being able to access the apartment and not staying at the property, my credit card was charged USD 595.99. I have proof of this charge. The property later informed Booking.com that my credit card had failed, which is incorrect, as the charge was successfully processed and the funds were retained. I am currently requesting a full refund, as the service was not provided and access to the property was not granted. Neighbors in the area also informed me that similar issues have occurred previously. This situation reflects extremely poor communication, lack of support, and improper handling of payment.

The worst apartment in all our stays in Latin America.

Location

No service at all to resolve problems. They went missing when we couldn’t access the apartment. The mattresses are old and hard. The cable TV doesn’t work. The bathroom is small and outdated. Take the money and run attitude with no consideration for the client.
