Absolutely loved the rooftop infinity pool
The location was fantastic - A short walk from everything.
Level 22 with a great view from the balcony.
It was clean and mostly comfortable.
The hardest thing was communicating with the host.
E g 1. A few examples include: I needed to pay a security deposit (supply my credit card details and a photo of my driver's licence). When I called them I just got answering machines. When they eventually called me back I was already boarding the plane feeling stressed about not being able to check in when I arrived. It's not good to read out your card details while surrounded by the other people boarding the plane.
E.g 2 Brisbane is very hot and humid. The button on the air conditioner control panel was broken and I couldn't get it to work. I tried messaging and calling the host and once again they completely ignored me. I eventually called booking.com for support but they couldn't get in tough with the host either. Eventually 24 hours later the hosts wrote me a message with the aircon information and we got it working (they sent this because booking.com had emailed them).
There are some maintenance / safety issues that should be addressed:
The broken / unstable dining chair that almost caused an accident and the electrical issue flickering switch in the main bathroom. I felt a bit nervous about the rust on the swinging chair on the balcony where the chair joins the support hook. And the broken air con button. There was a wifi network for the apartment but I never received the password.
I think from a guest experience perspective it would be helpful if the hosts put together an information booklet with the important info as well as helpful info and if they can't answer the phone or messages themselves, introduce an agency or system to do it for them so their guests don't feel abobded or stressed at crucial times when they need help.

Nog niet eerder zo’n omslachtige manier meegemaakt om in te mogen checken. Drie keer Booking.com hiervoor moeten bellen. Uiteindelijk via PayPal de vereiste borg kunnen voldoen, maar hier verlies je behoorlijk op wanneer deze weer wordt teruggestort nadien. Erg jammer en voor ons reden om dit appartement niet weer te boeken. Er zijn andere, klantvriendelijkere, manieren om een borg te kunnen betalen.

The location and view were the only features we were pleased about. We received clear instructions/videos of key lock box location and car park too which was helpful.
It was tired and grubby. The place could do with a deep clean and refresh. Beds were ok. The balcony was not huge as advertised - just a normal size. The sofa was basic and quite hard. After a big day out walking and exploring we wanted comfort and it didn't meet that. The communication was fast but conflicting at times ie, yes to early check in, no early check in unless I pay more etc. The lock box for the key was also really difficult to open due to being out in the elements. An extra instruction around the keys would be helpful, ie need fob to access garage. I assumed the pin code could open the garage door.
