The house itself is clean and comfortable and cosy with spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
If we were just reviewing the house it would full marks for everything.
Unfortunately, the reason for the lower scores is because the property was advertised as having an indoor and outdoor pool, however, upon arrival, the owner clarified there is just an outdoor pool which is not heated. I have enclosed 2 screenshots of what is advertised on booking.com.
The barn advertised has a neglected piano that is completely out of tune. A table football that is rusted and cannot be played. The snooker table is tiny so the only thing we could use was the ping pong table.
However, the barn itself is not comfortable. It is big and dark with one working light and open entry with no doors so open to the elements.
We booked this place for 3 days because we were going away with 3 teens knowing the weather was cold and wet, therefore, we wanted access to facilities. Instead, we were left very disappointed as the facilities were not as advertised and the barn is too cold and dark for winter use.
