Amazing location very easy to locate and move to and from.
Amazing food including my custom requests (cheese omelette)
Amazing staff
Shower had a problem. Requests to fix wasn't successful.
WiFi could only be accessed from the restaurant side.
No card payments. Could only pay with cash.

It was my second stay there and again, nice staff, super-location, clean room, good vibe. I had the same room and everything which was not working there before got fixed, so obviously small complaints were listened too.
Incredibly low water pressure, waiting for ages for warm water, but this is typical for many places in Zambia. Coffee could be served with milk, and so on. So rather small things.

The location is excellent and most of the staff are super-nice. The place has a good, chilled African vibe. Good breakfast included in the price. If you look for luxuries, look elsewhere, if you want African authenticity - this is the place to be .
Communication could be a bit better, sometimes it took a long time to get the answers, sometimes they didnt come at all.

Here is the thing with Lusaka Backpackers; you might not like it but it's very hard to find a better and affordable place.
It is cheap.
It is well located, not far from bus station, restaurants or other facilities but still you have to walk a bit.
It has a bar and a 'restaurant' there.
Rooms are old but more or less clean.
The shared bathrooms are too old and really need a restoration.
While some of the staff are really nice, several of them are definitely not.
It can take up to 2 hours to get your extremely simple breakfast or to get a cheap dinner, I strongly advise to eat outside the place even if you have the breakfast included (saves you a lot of time).
I've never seen anyone using the pool. Well, we saw cleaning staff using it to fill the mop bucket (they do not empty it there though, just refill it from the pool after emptying it on the floor)..
