Das Rattehi Inn ist in Familienhand geführt und das merkt man auch! Wir haben uns sehr willkommen und wohl gefühlt, die Atmosphäre auf der kleinen Insel ist ruhig, entspannt, entschleunigend und lässt einem Raum zum Atmen. Wer also einen Ort fernab von Lärm und Hektik sucht, der ist dort genau richtig! Da Niya selbst auf der Insel geboren wurde, konnte er uns viel über die Insel und das Atoll erzählen. Neben der Unterkunft gibt es nur eine weitere am anderen Ende der Insel sowie einen kleinen Shop, in dem man Getränke und Snacks kaufen kann.
Die gesamte Hotelanlage ist mit Liebe und Blick fürs Detail neu errichtet worden und sehr gepflegt. Teil der Unterkunft ist ein hauseigener, wunderschöner Strand (Bikini-Beach) mit Liegeflächen und Sonnenschirmen. Das Riff bietet optimale Bedingungen zum Schnorcheln, v. a. auch für Kinder, da in Strandnähe sehr flach. Die Perle ist das Blue hole am Ende des Riffs. Man kann es bei Ebbe zwar watend zu Fuß erreichen, einfacher (und mit mehr Zeit zum Genießen) ist es jedoch, das Schnorchel-Angebot des Hotels zu buchen, bei dem man mit dem Boot herausgefahren wird. Für uns ein absolutes Highlight unseres Urlaubs. Ebenso unser Bootsausflug zu den Delfinen, die ganzjährig um die Insel herum leben.
Das Zimmer entsprach genau der Beschreibung. Es gibt Shampoo und Duschgel, Handtücher und täglich Wasser + Kaffee und einen Fernseher. Eine Minibar mit Snacks (zusätzliche Kosten) steht ebenfalls zur Verfügung. Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und für zwei Personen ausreichend groß. Zum Frühstück wird ein Buffet vorbereitet, das wir als ausreichend empfunden haben. Für das Mittag- und Abendessen steht das Restaurant zur Verfügung mit lokalen, asiatischen und italienischen Gerichten. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und es ist preislich angemessen. Wunderschön war unser Abendessen auf dem Steg.
Der Transfer per Speedboat (ca. 1,5h, 60$ pro Person) von Malé nach Rakeedhoo wurde vom Hotel organisiert und hat wunderbar funktioniert.
Bei einem längeren Aufenthalt würden wir uns über mehr Auswahl im Menü/Restaurant freuen. Aber es ist wirklich ein Meckern auf hohem Niveau!

It’s almost kind of private Island, the experience you get here from sunrise to sunset is pure Incredible. Insane atmosphere perfect for couples, private garden, Beach, dinner on top of water( kind of candle light ). amazing staff, they’ve made our favt food on request. Super friendly people

The stuff was so friendly and the place was so clean .The ìsland was so calm and very nice for relaxation .We had a very memorable time and spent very excited vacation..not our last visit we will meet again !! ❤️

Beautiful island, clean, friendly staff. For the price the actual room is decent. However don't bother paying for the ocean view room as there is practically 0 difference between ocean view and regular as you can't see the ocean due to rocks and trees. They are pretty hospitable and the mosque around the island is nice. The people are pretty friendly as well.
Bad location if you want to do anything worthwhile. 1 tiny restaurant, tiny store with like 4 items. For the price the food is horrible and there is a service charge for everything. They could add a service charge for toilet paper and I wouldn't be surprised. Long story short, good service from staff and beautiful view and... that's about it. Do not stay here longer than like 5 days or you will lose your mind. Also I need to add again how bad the food is. Its tiny as hell, pricey as hell and unless you are used to white people food they literally just dump salt onto every item on the menu.
