The guesthouse is located in a historic crafts village at the foot of the Valtenberg. The Wichtelpension—situated southwest of Bautzen—is an ideal starting point for excursions in and around Upper Lusatia.

All rooms are comfortably and practically furnished. The two 2-bed rooms are equipped with TVs. The 6-bed room features bunk beds. The two group rooms under the roof each accommodate up to 10 guests. The shower and restroom are accessible via a shared hallway. Our common room serves as a dining room, seminar room, or TV room, as well as a space for cozy evenings and celebrations. Baby and toddler equipment is available and provided free of charge. We’re also happy to offer breakfast, half-board, or full-board. As group accommodations modeled after a mountain hut, you have the option of sleeping in your own sleeping bag or using our provided bedding. Additionally, a self-catering kitchen and a grill are available for your use. The self-catering kitchen is equipped with 2 dishwashers, 2 electric stoves, 1 combi-steamer, a refrigerator, a freezer, a coffee maker, a kettle, dishes and cutlery, and dish towels. Use of the attic lounge, which includes a pool table, darts, and a Wii, can be booked for an additional fee.



On-site fees: A prepayment equal to the total price is due 14 days before arrival. Payment is made via bank transfer. For last-minute bookings, payment is due on-site in cash. Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Check-out is by 11:00 AM.Keys are retrieved from a key safe; the code will be emailed to you the week before arrival. Pets are allowed upon request (for a fee). Maximum of 2 dogs at €10.00 per day. Towels are not provided. Two cribs are available free of charge upon request.
