Riad Dar Bousga

The breakfast was excellent, offering a good variety of tasty options. The Riad was also in a very convenient location, easy to find and just a short walk from a nearby car park. The rooftop terrace was another highlight, providing a lovely space to relax and sunbathe, with sunshine throughout the day.

Our room was located on the ground floor, next to the shared communal area, which meant there was often a fair amount of noise from other guests and staff, particularly in the mornings and evenings. We also had to wait four days for fresh towels and eventually had to ask for them to be changed, as the existing towels had become quite dirty. There was also construction work taking place directly behind the Riad. While we appreciate that this is unavoidable, the loud drilling and dust made relaxing and sunbathing less enjoyable/relaxing. Additionally, breakfast times were not flexible, meaning we were unable to have breakfast on the day we had an excursion planned. Greater flexibility would have been appreciated, particularly as the information provided by staff seemed inconsistent. When we explained the day before that we would be leaving early for an excursion, we were told that breakfast would not be available. However, the following day, another member of staff asked why we had missed breakfast. Clear communication and more flexible approach would have improved our One of the most disappointing aspects of our stay was an interaction regarding drinks from the shared fridge. We were asked what we had taken and explained that we had one can of Coke. A member of staff then questioned us about lemonade, which we clarified we had not taken. He later returned and stated that he had seen us with lemonade. We explained that this was actually a Fanta Lemon that we had purchased from a shop outside the Riad. We found this interaction uncomfortable, as it left us feeling as though we were being watched and not trusted. It was disappointing to feel that we were being accused of taking something we had not taken.

We had a lovely stay at Riad Dar Bousga. The room was beautifully decorated for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful and special surprise. It was a lovely personal touch that made our stay even more memorable. Thank you for making me feel so special and for helping make my birthday in Marrakech extra special! ❤️

The location was perfect for our needs easy access to the soul and many eateries Hospitality at the Riad was great. Lovely breakfast and staff very open to questions and very helpful . The room was very comfortable.

Not soundproof at all. The bathroom was not maintained. The riad played loud music until late in the evening. The two men who run the riad do the bare minimum of what they’re supposed to do, they’re a bit indifferent.
