Liegt direkt am See!

The hotel was clean, obviously well looked after and this facilities were also nice.
I did not like eating in the hotel restaurant, paying my bill by assigning it to my room and then when walking out being shouted at in a German language. I did not know why this man was shouting at me, I’ve not seen him in my part of the restaurant throughout my meal. When I asked the waiter who was serving my area, the only waiter I saw, he said I had not paid the bill. He seemed confused so I waited for the man who shouted at me to come back and then he looked at me like I was an idiot and said no problem, not oh I’m sorry sir for shouting at you I was mistaken. When I wanted to speak to the owner all the staff seem to rally round and play dumb and even in the morning the owner made no effort to come and speak to me. My advice would be if you’re from the UK, Australia, Canada, USA or New Zealand. I would give this place a miss because there’s a cultural mismatch in terms of manners and how to deal with people that we’re not used to. It’s a shame that they didn’t deal with the issue more professionally, but again I say it’s cultural. One of 42 hotels I will have stayed at this year, I rarely write reviews so it takes quite a lot for me to be negative.
