The apartment is modern, spacious and comfortable. We took it because there were two beds. Situated in an old area of Naples, the Spanish quarter, it was in a network of steep residential streets where life is lead as much in the street outside as indoors. It's off the beaten track but within 10 minutes walk of busy, more touristy areas. It could be a bit scary if you aren't streetwise.
The streets are too narrow for cars, so taxi drivers don't know it. When we arrived, the taxi dropped us off at another street with a similar name 10 minutes' walk away. We'd have been lost if Cosimo hadn't arrived on his vespa to guide us on foot. Not a place for heavy luggage. If you want both beds made up with sheets, let Cosimo know in advance.

Die Lage im spanische Viertel ist echt gut gewesen. Wir konnten alles gut zu Fuß erreichen.
Die Gastgeberin spricht kein Wort englisch, das finde ich ziemlich schwierig….! Das Bad hat keine durchgehende Wand und somit eine offene Decke zum Schlafzimmer, heißt man hört alles.
Der Boden war definitiv nicht gewischt es lagen überall Krümel und dreck, die Wände waren alle schmutzig. Es herrschte eine extreme Luftfeuchtigkeit. In der Unterkunft krabbelten überall Silber Fische und andere undefinierte Tiere.
