Location of the apartment is good…5 - 10 mins walk to local amenities and a little further to main shopping/restaurant areas. Beds were clean and comfortable. Towels were soft and fresh. Kitchen is well equipped. Some of it is a little basic but it has everything you need for a short stay.
We checked the reviews carefully before booking and there was no mention of the noise from outside. The two larger bedrooms have windows overlooking the street and annoyingly the noise was enough to disturb our sleep every night. It was the weekend so may not be as loud midweek. The shower in the upstairs bathroom is shocking. Hot/cold and erratic from the hand held riser and the overhead shower head at the same time. Quite dangerous actually as you couldn’t tell where the water was coming from next or at what temperature. It was so bad we all used the one on the lower level….defeating the object of booking this accommodation as two full bathrooms was one of our requirements. They may as well not have the second one.
