Excellent and very convenient place to stay before riding the mountain bike trail on the Alta Via del Sale.
To maximize my time on the Alta Via, I biked the 7 km distance from the Limone railway station to Riserva Bianca at Panice Soprana.
The buffet dinner includes everything that I could wish for in preparation for my 110 km MTB rocky ride to the coast the next day. Breakfast is served from 7 am, so this allowed me to start at 7:45 up the multi-hairpin curves to the Chalet Le Marmotte at 1900m altitude and, after cappuccino and cake, at 9 am as first (muscle-) biker on the off-road track.
At that morning hour, the mountains were still covered with clouds which made it into a spectacular ride.
The climbs are sometimes tough but pose few problems. I expected that the descent could be done at 20 km/h but the rocky surface (especially near the Tanarello pass) substantially slowed me down. I am glad to have started early at the Riserva Bianca so that I could complete the trip (late summer) before sunset.

Frühstück grosszügig.
Lage für uns Motorradfahrer sehr gut.
Wir hatten drei Enduros dabei (das sind schmale Geländemotorräder, welche auf einem Parkplatz Raum gefunden hätten…)
Trotzdem hätten wir für die Parkgarage denn gleichen Preis zahlen müssen, wie ein Auto…)
Das Personal hat seinen Job gemacht, jedoch ohne Herzlichkeit. Job. Mehr nicht. Schade.
