Le Paillon is a former stone-vaulted barn adjacent to the 12th-century church in the village of Saint-Pierre-des-Tripiers, on the Causse Méjean, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll appreciate its location near the Tarn and Jonte Gorges. As the starting point for numerous hikes and GR trails, and near the prehistoric site of Les Arcs de St Pierre, this is the ideal spot for hiking, rock climbing, caving, stargazing, canoeing down the Tarn, and swimming! Part of a complex of three vacation rentals, each with its own private entrance and no direct view into the others, “Le Paillon” features a living room (double sofa bed, TV) with a kitchenette (multifunction oven, toaster, coffee maker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher), a bathroom (with washing machine) and a separate toilet, and a closed-off mezzanine bedroom with a double bed. There is a small covered patio on the open grounds with patio furniture and a plancha grill. You can store your bicycles in a private outdoor courtyard that can be locked. Access to a large freezer in a shared room outside the cottage. Pets are allowed free of charge. You’ll enjoy high-speed 4G service. To enhance your leisure time, you have free access to the municipal library.
