Disappointing experience and unfair damage claim

The location is very good

Unfortunately, our experience at this property was very disappointing. The beds squeak very loudly. The third “bedroom” has no door separating it from the kitchen, which means it does not provide the privacy you would normally expect from a separate bedroom. Also, the dining table is simply too small for six people — six people cannot comfortably sit and eat at the table at the same time. We were a group of six adults, including our elderly parents/in-laws. We chose this accommodation because we wanted to visit the city and spend time together, not to party or damage the apartment. Throughout our stay, we treated the property respectfully. There were already several damaged or broken pieces of furniture when we arrived. We did not report every pre-existing issue on the first day because they did not prevent us from using the apartment, and we did not want to spend our holiday making complaints. We intended to mention the problems honestly in our review after the stay. The situation changed when the curtain came off the wall. We contacted the person responsible for the apartment because we hoped the issue could simply be repaired the same day. Instead, we were treated very unpleasantly, accused of having caused the damage and threatened with the police. The photos we are attaching show what actually happened. The curtain bracket was pulled out together with part of the plasterboard, and the wall plugs used for the installation do not appear to be appropriate fixings for a plasterboard wall. In our opinion, this was a problem with the way the curtain had been installed, rather than damage caused by us. Despite this, the property subsequently submitted a compensation claim against us, including for damage that was already present when we arrived. I have made dozens of bookings through Booking.com and have never had a similar incident or damage claim. We have no reason whatsoever to deliberately damage a property,

Good

Overall, the apartment is good and fully corresponds to the description and photos, it was very well cleaned. The keys are very easy to get from a nearby place. The location is great. There are awesome places to eat around. :)

However, there are a few unpleasant things, such as: bad sleeping mattresses, squeaky and soft also the pillows were uncomfortable. The door of wardrobes are difficult to open/slide. The shower is in the bathtub and there is no holder to be able to shower standing up.

Dont fall for it, double check, very bad staff

Pretty good location!

It was booked as 3 bedroom apartment, what is true, but no living room, not very likely. Also no internet, very bad communication, promising and no happening! Really dont recomend them to anyone. Very loud cracky beds.

Spacious and Great location

Spacious place, great location very clean

The apartment wasn’t set up comfortably, in terms of furniture arrangement and the beds. I recommend the owners to live there a few days themselves to figure out the issues: Too noisy bed, shower is splashing and no bath plug. toilet paper, plates and glasses are not enough for a family, there is no normal seating area in the living room and many small things that can be easily fixed and I hope the owners will take care of it already, and the time you read this.
