L' appartamento ha soddisfatto in pieno e, per alcuni aspetti, anche andato oltre le aspettative. Siamo una famiglia di 5 persone, gli spazi erano sufficienti, abbiamo utilizzato anche il divano letto oltre alle due camere. La cucina era completa di ogni attrezzatura, pulita ed organizzata. Il bagno era piccolo e un po' da "rimodernare" ma nel complesso pulito, funzionale e completo di ogni servizio. Un alloggio per lo stesso numero di ospiti e angolo cottura a Manhattan avrebbe avuto un prezzo di quasi il doppio, e con una metratura ben inferiore. La sorpresa è stata la comodità, la metro si trova veramente appena fuori casa, porta direttamente a Grand Terminal in meno di 10 minuti. Inoltre è servita dalla linea che ha collegamento diretto con l' aeroporto JFK (al ritorno abbiamo raggiunto l' aeroporto direttamente in metro, evitando anche il costo del taxi) . Nelle vicinanze ci sono molti servizi e supermercati, tra cui il Trader Joe's. A 10 minuti a piedi ci si ritrova sul lungo Hudson, proprio sotto l' iconica scritta PEPSY COLA, con una vista mozzafiato sullo Skyline di Manhattan. Quindi nulla da invidiare a zone più "centrali". Infine la comunicazione con il gestore della proprietà è stata sempre veloce e puntuale. Lo consigliamo senza riserve e, se dovessimo tornare a NY, cercheremo nuovamente disponibilità qui. Grazie

1. Extra Air Mattress Not Prepared and Unclean I requested an extra air mattress in the bedroom before our arrival. However, when we arrived, it had not been set up, and I had to inflate and prepare it myself. To make matters worse, there were several stains on it, and I had to clean them with my own disinfecting wipes. 2. Broken Bathroom Exhaust Fan and Poor Communication The bathroom exhaust fan was not working, making it difficult to eliminate unpleasant odors after using the toilet. I contacted the host about this issue, but it took more than 48 hours to receive a response. When they finally replied, the only explanation was, "It's broken!" No solution or alternative was offered. 3. Unacceptable Water Leakage from the Bathroom Ceiling The most disturbing and unacceptable issue was water dripping from the bathroom ceiling near the toilet. I actually had to place paper towels on the floor to catch the dripping water! As shown in the photos, the ceiling has extensive visible damage, including peeling paint, bubbling, and discoloration, suggesting that this was not a new issue. I was extremely concerned that the water might be coming from the plumbing or toilet system above. The possibility of contaminated water dripping into the bathroom was absolutely disgusting and raised serious hygiene concerns. It is unacceptable to rent out a property with such an obvious maintenance issue without properly addressing it beforehand. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness, maintenance, and lack of responsiveness from the host. These are basic issues that should have been resolved before guests arrived, especially when they involve hygiene and bathroom facilities. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below my expectations.
