It was out of the way but still a close enough drive
We loved everything

The cabin was clean and comfortable. A lovely couch to relax on. A great kitchen for self catering. Comfortable bed. The cabins are well set up on what looks like a paddock, but this adds to the "serenity". In the late afternoon you can sit on the balcony and enjoy the peacefulness as kangaroos come to graze on the grass. At night, you can observe the stars above. The property is just a short drive down the same road from the Dubbo Zoo.
The property is a few klms out of town, which we knew at the time of booking. As we were arriving late we did have a bit of trouble locating the property in the dark. The property is on a dark country road. A lit up sign would have been helpful as the GPS was not accurate in getting us there. Also, missing in the bathroom was a power outlet to plug in a hairdryer.
